Ryan is a freelance editorial and fine art photographer living in Baltimore, MD. His work focuses on collecting images he finds while exploring everyday life. He was born in northern Indiana where he grew up in the shadows of his two older brothers, eating casseroles and spending summer afternoons at the lake. Whenever he visits his Grandma, she bakes him a raspberry pie, pokes his initial in it and serves him a slice alongside a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Much of his work is influenced by the open expanses, close relationships and quiet moments he experienced growing up surrounded by the cornfields of the Midwest.
